14' Hand me down from a neighbor burned out on boating after 3 years "It was kinda fun but it's just not our family's lifestyle". It sat for 3 years before I brought it around the block. It ran strong and I made sure first thing to get the *big fat* Merc manual for it. I have an evil plan to turn this into an alternative fuel machine. I'd like to have an electric outboard and recently I've been getting into alcohol fuel. Maybe run enough off a still to fill the tank, do some water skying, then finish off the day fishing on the electric till dusk and head 'er into the dock :) I'm learning what the infamous David Blume and his group, International Institute for Ecological Agriculture (IIEA), has to offer. His books like "Alcohol Can Be a Gas" are interesting and in the U.S. you can make quite a bit of alcohol for personal use. Non highway taxes are easy to document and pay the taxes on, thanks to the Green Movement. Alternitive fuels are not so taboo these days.
