Took it back to Anderson Bros. Paint & Body in Huntsville, Texas, and had it sanded all the way down to the original retro gelcoat. Looks like somebody hit something pretty hard on the left side. Yes, that's a '57 Fuelie in the background.

David Anderson painted the hull with Awlcraft 2000 2-part acrylic urethane, then overlayed the silver metallic flames.

Joe Glud at Anderson Bros. made white seat covers with red piping to cool things off.
