TOPIC: Sabre for sale

Just sent in my reply to show the Century at the Door County, WI annual antique boat show Aug 2/3. I'll have a "for sale" sign on it. As much as it breaks the heart to put her on the block I just don't have the time to enjoy her the way I should. Last year she was in the water ONCE! the year before that only two times. She sits all lonely in the garage under wraps. Spending the last few days polishing up the chrome, scrubbing the vinyl and making her look Purdy. I'll have to suck the two year old gas out of the tank and put some fresh stuff in there just in case someone would want a demonstration ride. I'll have to get ahold of Hagerty and see if I can put maybe some type of short term insurance on her for the month.
If nothing happens in DC then she'll be on EBAY.

Skip, We took a long RV vacation last month, I could have brought it right to you doorstep and she would have fallen for it:(
I plan on putting her in the water this Sunday just to give her a run and make sure everything is ship shape. It has 15 gallons of two year old gas in the tank so it will take some coaxing.

Pour in a bottle of seafoam and you should be good to go. Really would love to own that boat but there is just no way the budget could carry one this year. Skip.
