Throw some through hulls on there and really get some attention at the dock :) I like that interior. Tons of room very clean boat! You live in MT or just got the boat from there?

I live in Montana and I bought the boat here. I think some one did a restoration on it at some point in the past. Its not the original color and the graphics are not a 70's thing. I really like this boat, it is strong enough to pull a tube/skier and still has the convenience of a cabin cruiser. still working on the issue of a potty(for the wife and kids). I thought about thru hulls but, I want to be able to use it for fishing at night too. the sound of open exhuast is a sweet sound to my ears but, the fish and the fishermen dont like it. This is my second boat to bring back to life. I did a 1972 22ft. larson ski boat with a 289 ford I/O about 18 years ago. That was a lot more work than this one.

Does any one else have a fiber form boat like this??? I have been searching and not found anything on this model. I only recently found one similar on craigslist in washington. First one I've seen other than mine.

Frog,
yep distributor is in the back. I think the Volvo 225 is a 350 Chevy. Could be a 305 I dont remember.

Thanks, MarkS. The motor is Chevy 305. The motor is pretty common, except for the exhaust which is the Chris craft style log set up. I had to do a lot of research to prove to Volvo that they ever used this set up. Found it in their own archives. its the boat that I have not seen many of. Not sure if its considered a cabin cruiser or what. It does have the complete kitchin/ dinning area.

Well, after all this time i finally figured out its a 19ft bimini. I guess you could buy it with no roof, single roof, and dual roof. It took alot of searching on the internet.

I recently picked up a free Fiberform Bimini 19. It's incredibly rough. I'm going to completely gut it and restore. Hopefully dozer59044 is still around to provide expertise.

That will be one cool and unique boat if you can bring it back to life! I love the colors and non-traditional hull.
