I ran across this boat last year. It was stored in a garage but it wasn't running. The owner said he needed to sell the boat so he could buy some cows. After looking under the hood, I asked him why the carburetor wasn't on it, to which he replied, I told you it wasn't running. So I asked if he had the carb, he said, sure do, I had it rebuilt a year ago, it's all wrapped up sitting in the garage. I asked him how much the cows going to cost him and he replied that 3K should do it. So it's not running and I don't even know if it will float, but for some reason my hand is already in my pocket searching for cash.

Well, it's time to get it out of storage and see what we bought.

Good news... it floats!! I got the carb back on with fresh fuel. Changed the oil and did a complete tune up with all new parts. The only thing I changed was replacing the points with a PeTronix electronic pickup and added a better coil.
