TOPIC: 1963 17' Reinell on CL

Hello:
Newby here. Thanks for access to your forum. I have been "reconditioning" a 16 foot Glasply runabout by buying a couple "parts" boats mostly for major items i.e., outboard motor, steering, controlls, etc. I am retired and living on a modest income and find that this is a great way to get back on the water. My project is nearly complete and I am selling my last parts boat, a 1963 Reinell 17' "lapstrake style" runabout. I removed the steering and controlls for my project. Here's a link:

I have had a number of FG boats over the years but have never seen one with a curved glass windshield that unclips at the front and hinges backward for reasons I can't figure out. Anyone ever seen one or know why it tilts?
