Hi everyone. Most of you probably don't know me but I'm the idiot that created this place, long ago.

I have a question.

I am in need of a Murray Flat Face Pedal car, in any condition.

Anyone got one out there that they'd be willing to sell?

There's still a pretty good group of us here from "the ole days" Kelly, great to see you dropping in from time to time!

We'll keep our eyes open for a pedal car like you're searching for down here, they show up now and then at the flea markets and such.. ;)

Neat! That's the one I'd want but I'm hoping not to destroy one that's in good shape.

Keep the eyes peeled. I only need the body.

Kelly, I'll keep my eyes peeled... I saw several last weekend at the '411 yard sale', an annual event here that runs from Tenn. to Alabama. I run across them from time to time in my travels through junk shops, estate sales, and yard sales.

The problem seems to be, everyone thinks that they are worth a FORTUNE. I've been looking for one (not specifically that make, but pretty much anything) to restore for my daughter, but thanks to shows like 'American restoration' and 'Pawn stars' everyone seems to think that they are sitting on a goldmine if they have one! People were asking hundreds of dollars for rusty junk that was missing most of the parts. Inevitably they'd tell me "That's worth a grand restored"... Never mind that it would cost me two grand to get it there ;)
