Heck, I never once thought your town was even gonna let ya have a garage! Good job Ron, took long enough eh buddy? Gotta love them local government guys. You might not have the height you wanted, but you got one heck of a foundation! :)

By the way, thanks for the great editorial and pictorial history of the project. Priceless!

Enjoy it, you deserve it.

thanks guys. it was a long haul, but the longer it was delayed, the less i cared for completion. the inspector passed it, but it looks higher than 15' 71/2" to me. i'll measure it tomorrow. ron

Nothing like precious storage for you Glassics.
I have two boats,Homelite powered pontoon and my 2002 Duramax in my barn right now. Maybe get another boat in there next year.
The Duramax has only seen salt once. Which I promptly washed off. B)
You have an advantage over me. I don't have an upper loft for storage.

Very nice. Way better then before I must say. Now you will have a on going project of setting up that nice work shop. Cabinets, shelving, lights and more lights.
I love the stairs. I was thinking of building a attic pull down ladder in my garage but maybe I can build a small stair case instead, hhmmm...

Have fun, Mike

Looks great Ron.
Now to fill with all the "stuff".
A clean slate to work with as far as floor plans.

Great hardscaping and great building. We got to keep the other half happy so we will be.
I still got to get my dock in and then work on my pontoon before she goes in the water. Powered by a 62 Homelite. Which will be submitted for a 2012 calendar for my most favorite outboard.
I hope you head the calendar project for 2012. You do outstanding work on these collector calendars.
Have a great boating season! B)

Looks outstanding!!! Do you think the stair case takes up more room than drop stairs?? ie, shelves, hangers etc. Just wondering, it sure does look better the way you have it,

Oh, BTW it looks like a couple of the pavers aren't lined up perfectly. You might want to pull it all up and try again!!! LOL

People call me mother all the time, what's soooo special???

B'day today. Was quite the present 56yrs ago....

Have a great day all!! Joe

thanks guys. really miss landscaping but we all have to retire someday.
joe, don't like pulldown staircases, not very safe. my wife will be using them more than me. it does take up some wall space though. pavers...still have to cover them with sand and run the tamper on them. will make any noticeable adjustments then. ron
