TOPIC: Looking for controls for 1954 Merc Mark 25

Is it possible to find controls (including steering)for a 1954 Merc Mark 25 out here?

original was 2 lever but any merc controll will work.

Not that it makes a huge difference in regards to your control search, but the first year of the Mark 25 was 1955. Was made from 1955 to 1958...

Hi,
The concern I would have, is if the motor has the remote control attaching kit present. The kit's steering bar holds the shift attachment components and also is the mounting point for the front steering attaching "swivel" for use with tiller rope (cable) and pulley steering. Do you have a manual or an electric start model? An electric should be more likely to have the kit. What type of steering are you planning to use? We likely cannot help with the kit, but we can with the balance (controls, cables, swivel or link arm for mechanical steering).
