It was destiny that I got her. She was free and through a stroke of luck I also got a free 35hp Johnson Javelin and they are both red and white. It was filled with crap that I removed and under that was rotten wood. I removed that to find a perfect sub flooring. I did notice some water when I look down the hole that's in the floor between the two front seats. Should that drain automatically and where would the drain hole be? I'll post some photos.

Here is a picture with the motor I just got, a Mercury 700 (I'm trying to figure out what year the motor is.)

Hi,
The picture shows a 1961 or 1962 Merc 700 Full Gear Shift model. Unfortunately, the picture seems to show that your boat is likely a long shaft transom, and the Merc 700 is a short shaft model. If you should wish to contact us, we do have an aftermarket extension assembly to convert a short to a long.

Regards,
Joe

I've uploaded some photos of a hole in the deck between the driver and front passage seat. it's threaded and I see water at the bottom. Any ideas what the hole is for?

Maybe an "inspection plate", they make a 4" dia and 6" dia screw in hatch/port/thingie. Doesn't sound like O.E., but I could be wrong. If there's water down under the floor, that can't be good however.
