Hello Everyone,
Having The "Just Awesome Boat Pictures" Post has been going for a while I think We should start an "Awesome Engines Pictures" Post.
So Here Goes, Same Deal Lets Aim for a nice colaboration of neat pics of your engine collections, If you think its an awsome picture of an engine post it up. Only rule is if you post something you need to include a picture and brief description. So here goes, Lets see what we get, All Makes models and types I think should be fine.

Thanks
Jesse

Looks more like a pre-war model, c. 1940, model S1F or similar. Model number should be stamped on the cylinder block...

Love that 75hp Starflite FANTM58! That is the engine that I grew up with, never forget the sound of that engine when you started it! I have the K and O miniature version of that engine that I bought at the Michelson Collection Auction in May. It was one of those gotta haves!
Great to see all of the vintage engine pictures!

I saved this '57 Javelin from a wingnut that was going to part it out. I got the engine before he could sell anything - but he did succeed in tearing it completely apart! Yes - that hood is all original. I bought new gaskets to reassemble the engine - but still need to do it.

Brucw Gerard,

well, at least you now have NO excuse to put off cleaning, inspecting, adjusting, replacing & repairing ANYTHING in the Javelin that MIGHT need it!

methinks that you will become THE EXPERT on that partculiar type of OMC outboard.

BEST WISHES, satx

Re:Awesome Engine Pictures 11 years 6 months ago #68559

delirious,in my case the motor was far from pristeen, and i figured what the heck its our motor,do what we want, its like going to a car show, there are total restorations, and customized cars.
it all depends on the individual.i consider the sunray a custom restoration,if it and the motor were in great condition,i wouldnt have changed a thing.john
