Just bought my first old aluminum boat. It is a 1958 Star Crest Jet Star with small fins. This guy's Dad was the original owner and bought from the dealer in 1958. Has a 1959 50 hp Evinrude, rope/pully steering, etc... All looks in great shape and was told it should start up quite easy. It is all aluminum with mahogany interior, all cushions perfect, included original owners manual, ladder, 15.5 ft, etc. Any idea what it is worth? Any suggestions on cleaning / waxing bare and painted aluminum and the mahogany dash, wood trim, etc. Here is a link to several pictures.

real nice lookin boat.whats nice about lummie's is you don't have to worrry about rotted floors or transoms and the many problems with old gelcoat. if i was starting over again i'd invest in a feathercraft vagabond. ron
