Endura Craft - History The Endura Craft Boat Company started somewhere around 1955 with a small line of boats. (about 4 models) They were a division of Dorsett Plastics Inc. which in 1958 became what we now know as Dorsett Boats. The name "Dorsett" didn't appear on boats as the manufacturer name until 1958. Much of the style of the famed Dorsett boats came from the early Endura Craft line including the famous Catalina.
