Spring Valley Lake Gathering
May 4th – May 6th, 2018
Hello fellow SoCal ACBS members!
As Winter is behind us and Spring brings longer days and warmer weather, it seems fitting to get together for
another boating event. We are planning such an event at Spring Valley Lake from Friday, May 4th through
Sunday, May 6th.
Our new puppy, Rudder, is looking forward to seeing everyone and to biting some new hands, as well!
For those of you who have not attended in the past, this is a private lake community located in Victorville. We
have advertised and promoted the presence of our boats on the lake and have received very positive feedback
from the residents. Our antique and classic boats will be much appreciated and respected.
 Secure trailer parking will be at the East Beach parking lot – around the corner from the show & launch
site, at 13270 Makai Court
 Boat launching will take place Friday and Saturday mornings.
 Donuts, muffins, fruit and beverages will be provided at the marina for those who wish to partake.

 Hawthorn Suites – 11750 Dunia Rd, Victorville – 760-949-4700 – All rooms include a king-sized bed, as
well as complimentary breakfast. Please mention So Cal ACBS when making your reservations for a
reduced rate

6:30 pm Group Reservation for Dinner at El Pescador Seafood and Mexican Grill
Location: Green Tree Golf Course: 14144 Green Tree Boulevard, Victorville
They offer a lovely menu with items everyone will enjoy. We have sampled the margaritas, and they
are fantastic!
Saturday, May 5th
5:30 pm Dinner at the Anderson Casa
Location: 13430 Driftwood Drive, Victorville, CA
Pizza, salad, beer, wine, soda, and desserts.
Directions: 15 North to Bear Valley Road. East to Spring Valley Parkway. Left on Spring Valley
Parkway. See map for boat ramp, trailer parking and Anderson house at 13430 Driftwood Drive.
8:00 am Boats on display at Spring Valley Lake
Location: 13325 Spring Valley Pkwy, Victorville
Launch ramp at end of parking lot next to docks.
