    • The OLD still in use photos (Reference purposes only)

Photos appearing here some other examples of these still in use today or they may simply be "sightings" of these forgotten classics that are still among the living.

A 1960 Stardust model - serial # 1185. This boat is slightly different than the other examples we know of. The difference is in the width of the "lip" connecting the bow deck to the hull. On this example, there is almost no "lip or "wing" where the rub rail attaches to the bow gunwale flange. This may have been an early production version. This boat was a local find, and is currently awaiting a full restoration. Power will most likely be from a Merc Mark 75.

A 1960 or later Stardust model - serial # 1313. Note the larger gunwale flanges that flare out from the bow deck. After a two year search for a finned Glassic, Dave rescued his beauty from the blackberry vines and pine needles of Northern Washington. His plans for the boat involve a full restoration.
